NO Additional Installments of DA to Employees, Pensioners - Karnataka Govt
Karnataka government clearly clarified that they won’t be paying additional installments of DA to Employees and Pensioners for the period of January 1,2020 till June 30,2021. The decision is with respect to the crisis arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Government order mentioned as
“The additional installments of Dearness Allowance with effect from January 1, 2020 payable to State Government employees and pensioners including employees and pensioners on UGC/ICAR/AICTE/NJPC scales of pay shall not be paid”
The state government mentioned as this is from from the Centre’s orders on freezing the dearness allowance and dearness relief to all. The state government also informed that additional installments of Dearness Allowance which will be due from July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021 also not to be released until further orders from the Central government.
The state government also informed, all employees and pensioners are not entitled to the arrears of dearness allowance for the period from January 1,2020 till June 30,2021.
